Turfsteker is a dark red-brown caramel-like beer with 7% Alc.
At the Turfsteker, secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle. This makes the taste rounder and riper as the beer evolves, and a yeast deposit develops at the bottom. This is rich in vitamin B and can be served with the beer.
